Located within the ‘Environmental and Sustainability Institute’ at the Penryn campus, the ESI Café needed the edge taking off the clinical look as the whole area was very white and bright. For the main café sign we used recycled metal formed letters filled with a species of real moss that can survive without being watered, by extracting water molecules directly from the air. Upcycled scaffold boards and pallet timber was used as décor strips, to soften the stark walls.
